SAA certification is the Standards Association of Australian, so many friends call Australian certification SAA. SAA is the certification that electrical products entering the Australian market must comply with local safety regulations, which is often faced by the industry. There are two kinds of marks of SAA, one is formal recognition and the other is standard mark. Formal certification is responsible only for samples, while standard marks require an audit of each plant. At present, there are two ways to apply for SAA certification in China. One is to transfer through CB test report. If there is no CB test report, you can also apply directly. Under normal circumstances, the application period for common products of IT AV lamps and small household appliances for SAA certification in Australia is 3-4 weeks. If the quality of the products is not up to standard, the date may be extended. SAA certificate of product plug shall be provided when submitting the report for review in Australia (mainly for products with plugs), otherwise it shall not be handled. SAA certificate of important components in the products, such as transformer SAA certificate in lamps and lanterns, shall be provided. If not provided, the audit materials of Australia will not pass.
